VIRTUAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE FOR UKRAINIAN MILITARY VETERANS. 20 WEEK COURSE DURATION INCLUDES 40 LESSONS. EACH LESSON IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING FOR EACH SPECIFIC PARTICIPANT IN ORDER TO ACCELERATE THE LEARNING PROCESS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. FOR INSTANCE OUR BLIND VETERAN IS ASSISTED WITH A SUPPLEMENTARY AUDIO READING BOOK PROGRAM AS WELL AS RECORDED AUDIO OF OUR CLASSES. INSTRUCTION ARE CONDUCTED ONLINE USING ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING PROGRAM. OVER 300 VETERANS PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM.
VETERANS' DAY CHARITY DINNER AND GALA NOV 11 2022 IN SUPPORT OF WOUNDED DEFENDERS OF UKRAINE AT THE HISTORIC ARMY NAVY CLUB FEATURING KEYNOTE SPEAKER H.E. MADAM AMBASSADOR OKSANA MARKAROVA. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WENT TO THE REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR THE WOUNDED DEFENDERS OF UKRAINE AND THROUGH NGO UKRAINE HOUSE UNITED 24 FOR PURCHASING MODULAR EXTERNAL FIXATORS TO TREAT WOUNDS AND TO PREVENT AMPUTATIONS. OVER 70 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
PROGRAM FOR UKRAINIAN CHILDREN REFUGEES "ENGLISH THROUGH LITERATURE ART AND MUSIC THERAPY." EDUCATIONAL ONLINE PROGRAM FOR LEARNING ENGLISH THROUGH CHILDREN'S LITERATURE MUSIC AND DRAWING. THIS EVENT IS AIMED AT IMPROVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND IS ALSO A PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE GOING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES. OVER 75 CHILDREN REFUGEES HAVE PARTICIPATED OVER THE SUMMER IN HIS PROGRAM.
CONFERENCE FOR UKRAINIAN MILITARY VETERANS FOUNDATION ON FEBRUARY 17TH 2023. APPROXIMATELY 20 PARTICIPANTS TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES DEVELOPING MARKETABLE SKILLS FOR TRANSITION TO CIVILIAN CAREERS.
