WE ALSO ASSIST QUALIFIED FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO ALLEVIATE THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF THINGS LIKE FUNERAL COSTS, TRAVEL TO FUNERALS, MENTAL HEALTH CARE COSTS, HEALTHCARE BILLS, OR OTHER EXPENSES. THESE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ARE SELECTED REGARDLESS OF THEIR RELIGION, RACE, ETHNICITY, OR AGE AND MAY BE IDENTIFIED TO THE FOUNDATION THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH, TELEVISION COVERAGE, OR REFERRAL VIA ANOTHER VETERAN OR FIRST RESPONDER ORGANIZATION.
