AS PART OF ITS PROGRAM SERVICES, THE NATIONAL DIVERSITY COALITION, INC. (NDC), ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC, IS ENGAGED IN ONGOING ADMINISTRATIVE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION (CPUC). CPUC IS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY THAT REGULATES PRIVATELY-OWNED UTILITY COMPANIES ENSURING THAT CALIFORNIA UTILITY CUSTOMERS HAVE SAFE, RELIABLE UTILITY SERVICE AT REASONABLE RATES, PROTECTING AGAINST FRAUD, AND PROMOTING THE HEALTH OF CALIFORNIAS ECONOMY. DURING THE TAX YEAR NDC WAS AWARDED INTERVENOR COMPENSATION IN ONE DECISION AGAINST UTILITY COMPANIES.
