THE INSTITUTE FOR PATIENTS' RIGHTS, INC. CONDUCTS OR ENGAGES OTHERS TO CONDUCT, RESEARCH ON END-OF-LIFE ISSUES. THE INSTITUTE WILL PROTECT PATIENTS' CIVIL RIGHTS AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE CONSEQUENCES THAT ASSISTED SUICIDE HAS TO THE INTRINSIC VALUE OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, PERSONS ADVANCED IN AGE, AND OTHER MARGINALIZED GROUPS.
