IN 2022 HUMANS FOR EDUCATION CONTINUED TO FOCUS ON COVID-19 EMERGENCY RELIEF IN THE FORM OF EMERGENCY FOOD DISTRIBUTION. HUMANS FOR EDUCATION WAS ABLE TO DELIVER FOOD TO MORE THAN 3,000 INDIVIDUALS IN NGOSWANI, KENYA EACH MONTH DURING 2022. THE FEEDING PROGRAM CONSISTED OF MAIZE, BEANS, AND COOKING OIL FOR HOUSEHOLDS WHO HAD AT LEAST ONE CHILD ENROLLED IN A HUMANS FOR EDUCATION SCHOOL AT THE START OF THE PANDEMIC. WE ADDITIONALLY PROVIDE HEALTH AND SANITATION TRAINING AT THE START OF THE PANDEMIC AND SOAP IN THE LATER MONTHS OF THE PANDEMIC. WE COLLECTED SURVEYS SEVERAL TIMES DURING THE PANDEMIC TO ASSESS THE SITUATION AND THE IMPACT OUR FOOD WAS HAVING ON THE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO CONTINUED TO WORK ALONGSIDE OUR SCHOOLS FOR MANAGERIAL SUPPORT AND BEGAN OUR SEARCH FOR NEW SCHOOLS. AN ADDITIONAL BUSINESS WAS OPENED AT ORBOLET SIANA HILLS ACADEMY, WHICH IS THE 3RD SCHOOL THAT WE HAVE WORKED WITH TO ESTABLISH A SELF-SUSTAINING SMALL BUSINESS. WE PARTNERED WITH THE LIONS CLINIC TO OPEN A PERMANENT DENTAL CLINIC IN THE MAASAI MARA, ENSURING THAT FAMILIES THAT ATTEND OUR SCHOOL AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN EXTREME POVERTY CAN GAIN ACCESS TO PROPER DENTAL CARE. THIS IS THE ONLY DENTAL CLINIC OF ITS KIND IN THE AREA WHERE WE WORK. WE PROVIDED 250 WATER PASTEURIZATION INDICATORS TO FAMILIES.
