ANIMAL RESCUE AND PROVIDING CARE - LUVIN ARMS PROVIDES CAREGIVING STAFF, VETERINARY AND MEDICAL COSTS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, AND FOOD/SHELTER FOR ALL ANIMALS AT THE SANCTUARY. EMERGENCY EXPENSES FOR BOTH SMALL AND LARGE RESCUE ANIMALS, TRANSPORTATION, AND SHORT-TERM/LONG-TERM ANIMAL HOUSING. RESIDENTS AT LUVIN ARMS GET TO LEARN FUN AND ENGAGING THINGS SUCH AS NAME RECOGNITION, TOUCHING TARGETS, SPINNING IN CIRCLES, AND COLOR DIFFERENTIATION. CLICKER PLAY IS A TOOL THAT CREATES A COMMON LANGUAGE BETWEEN ANIMALS AND HUMANS THROUGH REWARDING COOPERATIVE BEHAVIORS WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT. THESE ACTIVITIES PROVIDE THE MENTAL STIMULATION THAT THESE INCREDIBLY INTELLIGENT BEINGS NEED AND DESERVE IN ORDER TO LIVE A FULFILLING LIFE. EDUCATION AND OUTREACH - THIS INCLUDES EDUCATIONAL TOURS (BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL) AND HOSTING GROUPS AND EVENTS SUCH AS SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, AND COMPANIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. LUVIN ARMS ALSO PARTICIPATES IN LOCAL AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES.
