CONSCIOUS HOMESTEAD FUND (CHF) IS A BRANCH OF THE CONSCIOUS HOMESTEAD BIPOC URBAN FARM AND WHOLENESS RETREAT IN WINOOSKI VERMONT STEWARDED BY CANDACE TAYLOR. CONSCIOUS HOMESTEAD IS COMMITTED TO CO-CREATING A SPACE THAT IS ROOTED IN HEALING OUR ANCESTRAL CONNECTION TO THE LAND WHILE CENTERING BIPOC WHOLENESS AND LIBERATION. THIS LUSH AND BEAUTIFUL HAVEN IS TUCKED AWAY IN CANDACE'S RECENTLY TRANSFORMED BACKYARD. WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT THIS MAGICFULL SPACE IS AVAILABLE AS A RETREAT DEDICATED TO THE REST, NOURISHMENT AND EMPOWERMENT OF BIPOC. OUR OFFERINGS ARE DONE IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL BIPOC COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THE CONSCIOUS HOMESTEAD FUND, AS SPONSORED BY CROS, WILL EXPAND CAPACITY TO RAISE AND DIRECT FUND TOWARDS COMMUNITY CARE, MUTUAL AID AND AFFORDABLE OFFERINGS AT THE HOMESTEAD.
REGENERATION CORPS' (RC) MISSION IS TO EMPOWER YOUTH WITH THE KNOWLEDGE TO MITIGATE AND RESPOND TO CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS CONSTITUENT IMPACTS, ALL WHILE BUILDING COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND STRENGTHENING LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS. WE OFFER THIS PROGRAMMING IN SCHOOLS THROUGH A COHORT OF TEACHING ARTISTS, LOCAL ADULTS WHO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE IN THESE ISSUE AREAS WITH STUDENTS USING A JUSTICE-INFORMED APPROACH.
OTHER PROGRAMS OF COMMUNITY RESILIENCE ORGANIZATIONS (CROS) - HELPING TO CREATE WELCOMING, RESOURCEFUL COMMUNITIES THAT CAN ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES OF TODAY AND THE FUTURE - WHETHER CLIMATE CHANGE, SOCIAL DISCONNECTS, ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS OR OTHER UNFORESEEN DISRUPTIONS. CROS WILL MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE AT AND HELP YOU ASSESS VULNERABILITIES, DETERMINE PRIORITIES, IMPLEMENT PROJECTS THAT BUILD LOCAL AND REGIONAL RESILIENCE AND CELEBRATE SUCCESS. RE-LOCALIZATIONS OF CRITICAL RESOURCES LIKE WATER, ENERGY AND FOOD IS A STRATEGIC TOOL FOR CLIMATE MITIGATION, ADAPTATION AND SOCIAL CHANGE. WE PROVIDE RESOURCES AND FRAMEWORKS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS TO COMBAT SOCIETAL INEQUITIES BY RESOURCING THOSE FIRST AND MOST IMPACTED BY CLIMATE CHANGE AND MARGINALIZATION. WE DO THIS THROUGH AN ORGANIZING HUB FOR LOCALIZED SOLUTIONS AND FISCAL SPONSORSHIP.
