THE MISSION OF THE QUAKER RIDGE EMPLOYEE CHARITY FUND, INC. (THE "FUND") IS TO CREATE, FORM AND ESTABLISH A SCHOLARSHIP FUND TO BENEFIT EMPLOYEES AND/OR THE EMPLOYEES' FAMILIES OF THE QUAKER RIDGE GOLF CLUB AND OTHER GOLF CLUBS IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY; TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TO PROMOTE, FOSTER AND ENCOURAGE SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT, EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND INTELLECTUAL ADVANCEMENT BY PROVIDING FUNDS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION; TO AID, ENCOURAGE, STIMULATE, FOSTER AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH GRANTS, STIPENDS, SCHOLORSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO DESERVING STUDENTS; TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE SCARSDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT, SCARSDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER ORGAIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES TO THE QUAKER RIDGE GOLF CLUB AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; TO SOLICIT DONATIONS FROM INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS, CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, CORPORATIONS, AGENCIES AND OTHER INTERESTED INTUITIONS.
