THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN A PRO-ACTIVE FESTIVAL WITH GOALS AND EXPERIENCED BUSINESS INITIATIVES IN PLACE FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF NOT ONLY THE FESTIVAL, BUT THE CITY, PARISH, HERITAGE AND CULTURE.

THE INTERNATIONAL RICE FESTIVAL IS A CELEBRATION EVERY THIRD WEEKEND IN OCTOBER IN THE HISTORIC DOWNTOWN AREA OF CROWLEY, LOUISIANA, THAT EMPHASIZES THE ROLE OF RICE IN THE ECONOMY OF SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA. THE FESTIVAL IS HOPEFUL TO GROW AND BECOME THE LARGEST AND MOST TOURIST ATTRACTIVE ADMISSION-FREE CULTURAL CELEBRATION OF ITS KIND IN LOUISIANA.
