WITH THE CONTINUING CHANGES TO CULTURAL EXPLORATION AND TRAVEL DURING 2021 AND 2022, THE WILLIAM E HIXSON FOUNDATION CONTINUED OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUTH FOR UNDERSTANDING AND HONORED PREVIOUSLY SLATED SCHOLARSHIPS AS WELL AS ADDED SOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE SUMMER OF 2022.
IN ADDITION TO OPENING POSSIBILITIES AND EXPANDING MINDSETS THROUGH CULTURAL EXPLORATION, THE WILLIAM E HIXSON FOUNDATION DECIDED TO RECOGNIZE THE POWER OF OUTDOOR EXPLORATION AND SUPPORT PROJECT LIFELONG AND SIERRA CLUB IN PROVIDING YOUTH THE OPPORTUNITY OF EXPERIENCING THE OUTDOORS, FROM HIKES TO CAMPING, SKIING TO PADDLE BOARDING.
THE WILLIAM E HIXSON FOUNDATION NOT ONLY FOCUSED ON MAKING MATH APPROACHABLE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR, BUT ALSO, STARTED TO SUPPORT DATA FLUENCY THROUGHOUT A STUDENT'S LIFE. WEH CONTINUED SUPPORT OF MIND RESEARCH FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, AND FURTHERED DATA FLUENCY IN HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF YOUCUBE'S HIGH SCHOOL DATA SCIENCE CURRICULUM AS WELL AS SUPPORTED WOMEN IN DATA'S SECONDARY PROGRAM FOR GIRLS. IN ADDITION, WEH SUPPORTED ADDITIONAL RESEARCH ON ELEMENTARY EDUCATION CURRICULUM.
