THE OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES OF THE SCHOOL ARE: (1) TO FOSTER QUALITY PUBLIC EDUCATION AND TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE PROMOTION AND ADVOCACY OF COMMUNITY SCHOOLS; (2) TO STIMULATE AND REPLICATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS IN PUBLIC EDUCATION WITH AN EMPHASIS ON MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY; (3) TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING AND ASSESSMENTS; (4) TO PROVIDE PARENTS AND STUDENTS WITH GREATER EDUCATIONAL OPTIONS IN CHOOSING A SCHOOL; AND (5) TO HOLD TEACHERS, PARENTS, AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE STUDENT EDUCATIONAL PROCESS.
