HBH RECRUITED LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOMEBUYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN A SWEAT-EQUITY PROGRAM IN WHICH THE HOMEBUYER PERFORMED CONSTRUCTION UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF HBH STAFF, AND HOME BY HAND BEGAN CONSTRUCTION ON NEW HOMES IN A DISTRESSED NEIGHBORHOOD IN NEW ORLEANS.
