ORANGEVALE FOOD BANK-COLLECTED FOOD FROM LOCAL SUPERMARKETS AND FOOD DRIVES AND DISTRIBUTED THE FOOD TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED IN THE ORANGEVALE COMMUNITY.
COMMUNITY FARM-PLANTED AND HARVESTED APPROXIMATELY ONE ACRE OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ON LAND ADJACENT TO THE ORANGEVALE FOOD BANK IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES TO ORANGEVALE FOOD BANK CLIENTS.
DINNERS ON US-RECOGNIZING THAT SMALL RESTAURANTS IN THE ORANGEVALE AND FAIR OAKS AREA WERE STRUGGLING DURING COVID, THE FOUNDATION FUNDED 100 WEEKLY MEALS FOR SIX WEEKS EACH QUARTER WHICH WERE PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
OTHER PROGRAMS IN 2021 WERE HOMELESS ASSISTANCE RESOURCE TEAM, BIG DAY OF SERVICE, ORANGEVALE SUMMER NIGHTS, ORANGEVALE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANT PROGRAM.
