GENDER JUSTICE LEAGUE'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER ALL PEOPLE TO ELIMINATE DISCRIMINATION AND PREJUDICE BASED ON SEX, GENDER IDENTITY, GENDER EXPRESSION, AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION IN WASHINGTON STATE, AND TO ENSURE THAT TRANS AND GENDER DIVERSE PEOPLE CAN LIVE THEIR LIVES SAFELY, TRUE TO THEMSELVES, AND FREE FROM DISCRIMINATION.

SAFE HOUSE PROGRAM: GENDER JUSTICE LEAGUE SERVED 150 SURVIVORS OF HATE CRIMES, GENDER BASED VIOLENCE (SUCH AS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, OR FAMILY VIOLENCE), AND OTHER CRIMES BY PROVIDING SAFETY PLANNING, RESOURCE NAVIGATION, AND EMERGENCY FLEXIBLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP PEOPLE GET TO SAFETY.


TRANS PRIDE SEATTLE - TRANS PRIDE SEATTLE DID NOT HAPPEN IN 2021 DUE TO COVID-19. THE PROGRAM RETURNED IN 2022.


COMMUNITY ADVOCACY - GENDER JUSTICE LEAGUE THROUGH NUMEROUS COALITIONS SUPPORTED PUBLIC ADVOCACY WITH THE MEDIA, PUBLIC, AND POLICY MAKERS ON ISSUES THAT DIRECTLY IMPACT TWO-SPIRIT, TRANS, AND GENDER DIVERSE PEOPLE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST FROM ISSUES SUCH AS GENDER AFFIRMING CARE, HATE CRIMES, DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, AND EDUCATION, AND ISSUES RESULTING FROM SUCH DISCRIMINATION.


COMMUNITY EDUCATION: GENDER JUSTICE LEAGUE CONDUCTED 15 WORKSHOPS SERVING MORE THAN 750 PEOPLE AND CO-PRODUCED THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON SCHOOL OF MEDICINE - CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OF TRANSGENDER PATIENTS CLASS.
