PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS: THROUGHOUT 2023, TRANSFAMILIES MAINTAINED ITS VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING TO SUPPORT PARENTS OF TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. OUR SERVICES INCLUDED ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PARENTS, SPECIAL-TOPIC WEBINARS, PARENT DISCUSSION FORUMS, AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES AND STAFF. MEMBERS' CHILDREN ALSO BENEFITED FROM OUR EXCLUSIVE YOUTH PROGRAMS, WHICH OFFERED ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS, SAFE DIGITAL SPACES FOR TRANS AND NONBINARY YOUTH, AND THE TYTAN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM DESIGNED TO EMPOWER YOUNG LEADERS. PURPOSE, SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES, AND TARGET POPULATION: TRANSFAMILIES IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING, EDUCATING, AND CARING FOR PARENTS OF TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN THROUGH VARIOUS PROGRAMS, INCLUDING COMMUNITY AFFINITY GROUPS, WEBINARS, ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATIONS, AND MONTHLY COMMUNICATIONS. WE ALSO PROVIDE DEDICATED PROGRAMMING AND COMMUNITY SPACES FOR THEIR TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, AS PART OF OUR MISSION TO SUPPORT FAMILIES, TRANSFAMILIES SHARES BEST PRACTICES FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO SERVE FAMILIES WITH TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN. QUANTIFIABLE METRICS: NUMBER OF PEOPLE SERVED: 3,000 EVENTS HELD AND HOURS OF SERVICE PROVIDED: 122 EVENTS, TOTALING 302 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE KEY OUTCOMES ACHIEVED: PARENTS OF TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN REPORTED AN INCREASED POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON THEIR FAMILY'S FUTURE. PARENTS EXPANDED THEIR COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, HELPING THEM FEEL LESS ISOLATED IN THEIR EXPERIENCES. PARENTS GAINED A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO SUPPORT THEIR TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN EFFECTIVELY. PARENTS STRENGTHENED THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR CHILDREN. TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN EXPERIENCED A MORE POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON THEIR FUTURE. TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN EXPANDED THEIR COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS. TRANS AND NONBINARY CHILDREN STRENGTHENED THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR PARENTS. PROFESSIONALS ENHANCED THEIR ABILITY TO PROVIDE INFORMED SUPPORT AND RESOURCES TO PARENTS OF GENDER-DIVERSE CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, AS WELL AS TO THE CHILDREN THEMSELVES.
