ENLIGHTEN: WE HELD 31 AWARENESS EVENTS WITH 1,559 ATTENDEES. ONE OF THOSE WAS A PLAY IT SAFE EVENT AT WARREN COUNTY SCHOOLS WHERE WE SHARED INSIGHTS ON TRAFFICKING AND SAFETY TIPS WITH 400 MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
EDUCATE: WE TRAINED 553 PEOPLE AT 20 SESSIONS. OUR DIAGNOSIS: TRAFFICKED MEDICAL TRAINING PROGRAM WAS APPROVED BY THE GEORGIA NURSES ASSOCIATION FOR MEMBER NURSES TO RECEIVE CEU CREDITS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE TRAINING. THE OMNI HOTEL AT THE BATTERY MADE OUR IN PLAIN SIGHT TRAINING MANDATORY FOR ALL EMPLOYEES.
EMPOWER: WE DEVELOPED A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COBB COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER TO PROVIDE CLOTHING AND ESSENTIALS TO WOMEN IN NEED AS THEY ARE RELEASED, AND THE LEADERSHIP ALLOWED US TO BEGIN INTERACTING WITH SURVIVOR INMATES.
