ENLIGHTEN: WE SPOKE TO 1,396 PEOPLE AT 33 EVENTS, 11 OF WHICH WERE VIRTUAL. WE HAD STRONG CONNECTIONS WITH HOUSES OF FAITH THIS YEAR, REACHING 134 PEOPLE AT EVENTS HOSTED IN CHURCHES. THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COBB COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT'S FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICES DEPARTMENT, WE WERE ABLE TO GET OUR "WHAT EVERY PARENT SHOULD KNOW" HANDOUT AND OUR "BE SMART" STUDENT CARD INCLUDED IN 10,000 MEAL KITS DISTRIBUTED TO FAMILIES WITHIN COBB COUNTY.
EDUCATE: WE TRAINED 217 PEOPLE AT 11 EVENTS. WE DELIVERED DIAGNOSIS: TRAFFICKED TO OUR FIRST CLASS OF PARAMEDICS AT METRO ATLANTA AMBULANCE, AND THE PROGRAM WAS CERTIFIED BY WELLSTAR SO THAT EMPLOYEES MAY RECEIVE CEU CREDITS FOR COMPLETING THE TRAINING. WE CONDUCTED A VIRTUAL SEX TRAFFICKING 101 TRAINING FOR EDUCATION STUDENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY. WE PILOTED THE NO LONGER HIDDEN DIGITAL MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM WITH A HOMESCHOOL GROUP.
EMPOWER: WE CREATED A MINI SURVIVOR RESOURCE CENTER IN OUR NEW OFFICE SPACE, WHICH INCLUDES A COMPUTER LAB, TRAINING AND ENTERTAINMENT AREA, AND HOPE'S CLOSET FILLED WITH DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. ONE SURVIVOR GRADUATED FROM A REAL ESTATE CLOSING PROGRAM AND BEGAN WORKING FOR AN ATTORNEY.
