DELIVERY OF HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS TO FAMILIES IN NEED. APPROXIMATELY 30 AGENCIES REFER FAMILIES IN CRISIS TO THE ORGANIZATION ON A CONSISTENT BASIS, INCLUDING THE HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM, TAMPA POLICE DEPARTMENT HOMELESS INITIATIVE, HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT CHRONICALLY HOMELESS PROGRAM, GRACEPOINT WELLNESS SERVICES, ECKERD KIDS, CHILDRENS HOME, SUCCESS 4 KIDS, AND VARIOUS CHURCHES. CHURCHES ARE OUR LARGEST SOURCE FOR RECRUITING INDIVIDUALS TO DONATE FURNITURE AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. VOLUNTEERS ALSO COME FROM COLLABORATIONS WITH LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES SPORTS TEAMS, JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL KEY CLUB, AND OTHER FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER HOURS IN 2021 WAS 12,118 HOURS.
