Part 3
DURING THE 2023 CALENDAR YEAR, WEBSTER BROADBAND COOPERATIVE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICE TO APPROXIMATELY 130 LOCAL MEMBER RESIDENTS OF NORTH CENTRAL WEBSTER TOWNSHIP. MEMBERS ARE IN AREAS OF THE TOWNSHIP WHICH ARE NOT SERVED WITH INTERNET ACCESS BY LOCAL CABLE OR TELEPHONE COMPANIES. FURTHERMORE, CELLULAR AND SATELLITE RECEPTION IS OFTEN INADEQUATE BECAUSE OF THE HILLY WOODED TERRAIN SURROUNDING MANY OF THE RESIDENTS. WEBSTER BROADBAND COOPERATIVE HAS PROVIDED THESE RESIDENTS AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE INTERNET SERVICE TO ENABLE WORKING FROM HOME, COMPLETING SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS, REMOTE LEARNING, ONLINE BANKING, INTERACTING WITH THEIR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND ACCESSING NEWS AND ENTERTAINMENT AMONG OTHER THINGS. OUR 130 MEMBERS WOULD BE DISCONNECTED FROM MODERN LIFE WITHOUT WEBSTER BROADBAND COOPERATIVE.
