SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROJECT - OPPORTUNITY SOLUTIONS PROJECT ADVOCATED WITH POLICYMAKERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO ADVANCE POLICIES THAT PROTECT THE PUBLIC SAFETY NET OF MEDICAID, FOOD ASSISTANCE AND OTHER WELFARE PROGRAMS, TO ENSURE RESOURCES ARE PRESERVED FOR THE TRULY NEEDY, WHILE THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO WORK WERE GIVEN SUPPORT AND INCENTIVES TO FIND THEIR FIRST JOB OR THEIR NEXT JOB AND QUICKLY GET BACK ON THEIR FEET AFTER THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS.
