THE MBA STUDENT ASSOCIATION AT UNC KENAN-FLAGLER (MBASA) STRIVES TO ENSURE THAT THE MBA PROGRAM AT THE UNC KENAN-FLAGLER BUSINESS SCHOOL PROVIDES ITS STUDENTS WITH A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AIMED AT PRODUCING FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS WHO ARE WELL-EDUCATED, MAINTAIN A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE AND ENJOY BALANCED LIFESTYLES; CAREER OPPORTUNITIES WHICH FIT THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS; AND NONACADAMIC ACTIVITIES ESSENTIAL TO BECOMING SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS LEADERS.

GRADUATION: THE MBASA AT UNC KENAN-FLAGLER ASSISTS THE KENAN-FLAGLER BUSINESS SCHOOL IN HOSTING GRADUATION EVENTS FOR STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE MBASA HOSTS AN ANNUAL RECEPTION AT THE PRESIDENT'S CLUB ON THE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA. THIS EVENT BRINGS TOGETHER STUDENTS AND FAMILIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE AS THEY CELEBRATE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF OUR GRADUATES.THERE WAS NO FUND RAISING EVENTS RELATED TO THE GRADUATION EVENTS DUE TO COVID.
THE REMAINDER OF OUR PROGRAMS ARE SMALLER EVENTS. THEY CONSIST OF EVENTS TO SUPPORT DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION CLUBS, WHICH PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR DIVERSE STUDENTS AND PUT ON EDUCATIONAL EVENTS RELATED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE GROUP, AS WELL AS EVENTS TO SUPPORT CAREER CLUBS, WHICH PROVIDE EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO STUDENTS RECRUITING INTO A PARTICULAR INDUSTRY. WE ALSO DO A NUMBER OF SMALLER SOCIAL EVENTS AND SUPPORT A NUMBER OF CONFERENCES ON CAMPUS, SUCH AS THE KENAN-FLAGLER HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE AND THE CAROLINA WOMEN IN BUSINESS CAMPUS, RELATED TO A CAREER FOCUS AREA OR TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION IN BUSINESS.
