THE COMMISSION MAINTAINS EXCELLENT RELATIONS WITH ALL OF ATLANTIC COUNTY, NEW JERSEY'S SPORTS FACILITY MANAGEMENT, HOTELS AND CASINOS AND MEETING FACILITIES. PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS ARE PROVIDED A SIGNIFICANT HEAD START AND SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASE THEIR ODDS OF A SUCCESSFUL EVENT EXPERIENCE BY ASSISTING THEM WITH IDENTIFICATION, COOPERATION AND COORDINATION WITH FACILITIES IN A VARIETY OF VENUES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2022: 3STEP - BOARDWALK BLOCK PARTY/ZGXL BASKETBALL/MAIN EVENT/ZG STATE BASKETBALL/ATLANTIC CITY SHOWCASE THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION RECEIVED IT'S BIGGEST WIN IN 2022 BY LANDING 4 3STEP EVENTS, ALL AT THE ATLANTIC CITY CONVENTION CENTER. THE EVENTS ATTRACTED THE BEST GRADE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN THE COUNTRY, CULMINATING IN THE LARGEST TOTAL ECONOMIC IMPACT AND ROOM NIGHT NUMBER BY ONE COMPANY EVER. DATE- APRIL/MAY ECONOMIC IMPACT: 22,054,225.90 ROOM NIGHTS: 17,043 NABA - NORTH AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION IN 2022, THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION HOSTED THE LARGEST ALL PILIPINO BASKETBALL/VOLLEYBALL/AND BADMINTON TOURNAMENT IN THE COUNTRY. THIS EVENT ATTRACTED A NEW DEMOGRAPHIC TO ATLANTIC CITY. DATE - SEPTEMBER 3 - 6 2022 ECONOMIC IMPACT - EI: 4,400,681 ROOM NIGHTS - 4,500 USA FUTSAL - NORTHEAST REGIONALS THE ATLANTIC CITY CONVENTION AND THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION WERE ELATED TO HOST THE FUTSAL NORTHEAST REGIONALS IN FEBRUARY OF 2022. THIS WAS A PIVOTAL YEAR, AS WHILE WE HOSTED THEM IN 2022, WE WERE ABLE TO SECURE ANOTHER FOUR YEAR DEAL WITH THE JUGGERNAUT OF FUTSAL. THIS INCLUDES NOT ONLY THE REGIONALS EACH YEAR, BUT ALSO TWO NATIONALS FOR TWO OF THOSE YEARS. DATE- FEBRUARY 18-21 2022 ECONOMIC IMPACT - 8,167,397.57 ROOM NIGHTS - 6041 USA WRESTLING - NORTHEAST REGIONALS USA WRESTLING HAS CONSISTENTLY BEEN A TARGET FOR THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION SINCE INCEPTION, HOWEVER IT CONTINUED TO ALLUDE US, INTO 2022 THAT IS. IN 2022, THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION WAS SUCCESSFUL IN BRINGING THE ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION FOR NOT ONLY THAT YEAR, BUT THE FOLLOWING YEAR AS WELL. THIS EVENT IS A HUGE WIN FOR A GREAT WRESTLING DESTINATION IN ATLANTIC CITY. THIS BEHEMOTH OF A CONVENTION ATTRACTED SPORT MEMORABILIA ENTHUSIASTS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTY, TO AN IMPRESSIVE TUNE OF 50,000 ATTENDEES.
