WE ARE LEADING THE CHANGE-MAKERS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND ACROSS THE NATION TO END COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION. OUR RESEARCH IS USED TO REDUCE DEMAND, CONVICT TRAFFICKERS, AND DECREASE BARRIERS FOR MARGINALIZED POPULATIONS THROUGH EVIDENCE BASED SERVICES.

SUPPORT GROUPS - OUR SEX TRAFFICKING SUPPORT GROUPS ARE SURVIVOR-LED AND CO-FACILITATED BY MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY - THE AVERY CENTER PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SURVIVORS SEEKING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN COLORADO BY REDUCING THE DIRECT COST OF HIGH QUALITY TRAUMA THERAPY THAT WAS NOT OTHERWISE COVERED BY STATE INSURANCE, CRIME VICTIM COMPENSATION OR OTHER EXISTING FUNDS.
FINANCIAL WELLNESS CURRICULUM - MONEY IS OFTEN USED AS A WEAPON AGAINST TRAFFICKED INDIVIDUALS, KEEPING THEM DEPENDENT ON THEIR TRAFFICKER OR LIVING IN FEAR OF POVERTY. THE AVERY CENTER'S ROBUST CURRICULUM "SURVIVOR?S GUIDE TO MONEY" TEACHES SURVIVORS HOW TO USE MONEY AS A TOOL FOR THEIR SUCCESS OUTSIDE OF THE GAME.
