FRIENDS OF THE TEXAS STATE AQUARIUM (FTSA) WAS ORGANIZED IN DECEMBER 2014 BY THE AQUARIUM AS A TEXAS NONPROFIT CORPORATION TO FACILITATE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FACILITY FOR USE BY THE AQUARIUM. BOTH THE AQUARIUM AND FTSA SHARE A COMMON BOARD OF TRUSTEES (BOARD) AND, AS SUCH, ARE COMBINED IN THESE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
