Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
UNITES GIVEN-UP-ON YOUTHS WITH ABANDONED ANIMALS.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THE FOUNDATION RESCUES ABANDONED ANIMALS AND REHABILITATES THEM BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. CURRENT STATISTICS SUGGEST THAT NEARLY 8 MILLION ANIMALS END UP IN SHELTERS EVERY YEAR, WITH HALF OF THEM NEVER BEING SAVED. THE FOUNDATION WILL PRIORITIZE RESCUING ANIMALS FROM "HIGH KILL SHELTERS" TO RECEIVE NECESSARY CARE AND ATTENTION (I.E., FEEDING, EXERCISING, AND SO ON) TO PREPARE THESE ANIMALS FOR PERMANENT ADOPTION INTO LOVING HOMES. PARALLEL TO ITS WORK IN SAVING ANIMALS, THE FOUNDATION ALSO HELPS YOUTHS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE PROPER SUPPORT FROM THE GENERAL COMMUNITY OR SOCIETY. THE FOUNDATION HELPS THESE YOUTHS BY INVITING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RESCUE EFFORTS OF ANIMALS, WHEREBY EACH YOUTH WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY CARE AND ATTENTION TO HIS AND HER ASSIGNED ANIMAL. BY CREATING A SUPPORTIVE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE ANIMALS AND THE YOUTH, THE FOUNDATION WILL FOSTER EMOTIONAL HEALING FOR BOTH PARTIES. THROUGH EMOTIONAL HEALING, THE YOUTH WILL ACQUIRE THE SKILLS AND SELF-CONFIDENCE NECESSARY TO REJOIN SOCIETY.
