THE SDTA HELD A LEGISLATIVE SOCIAL EVENT, IN WHICH MEMBERS OF THE SDTA DISCUSSED THE TRUST INDUSTRY AND ITS BENEFITS WITH LEGISLATORS ACROSS THE STATE. FROM A MARKETING STANDPOINT, THE SDTA CREATED AN EDUCATIONAL INFOGRAPHIC TO DESCRIBE THE POSSIBILITIES WITHIN THE TRUST INDUSTRY FOR THOSE IN COLLEGE THINKING OF PURSUING A CAREER IN THE TRUST FIELD. A JOB POSTING LINK WAS ALSO ADDED TO THE SDTA'S WEBSITE. THE SDTA SUPPORTED PHILANTHROPY AS WELL, WITH AN EYE ON MEETING NEEDS ACROSS THE STATE IN THE MIDST OF THE COVID PANDEMIC, UTILIZING PROGRAMS SUCH AS FEEDING SOUTH DAKOTA. IN THE FALL OF 2020, THE SDTA AGAIN HOSTED A FALL FORUM EDUCATIONAL EVENT AS A WAY TO PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION TO ATTENDEES ON A BROAD RANGE OF TOPICS. INDIVIDUALS WERE ABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY.
