Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
WE HARNESS THE CREATIVITY AND THE POWER OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION TO ADDRESS THE MOST PRESSING EXISTENTIAL CRISIS OF OUR LIVES: CLIMATE CHANGE. REBOUND NYC: TO CELEBRATE EARTH DAY 2021, WE INVITED SIX ARTISTS TO CREATE TWO IMPACTFUL EXPERIENCES THAT INVESTIGATED THE STATE OF OUR ENVIRONMENT. WE CONVERTED TWO EMPTY STOREFRONTS IN MANHATTAN IN TEMPORARY ART EXHIBITIONS FOR A TOTAL OF FORTY DAYS. THE POP-UPS ENGAGED ARTISTS WORKING IN VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS TO PRESENT WORK WITH ENVIRONMENTAL THEMES, SUCH AS CLIMATE CHANGE, BIODIVERSITY LOSS, AND RECYCLING. THE PROGRAM HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE REGENERATION OF THE CITY'S STREET LIFE AND CULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE DURING A CRITICAL TIME OF RECOVERY AFTER COVID AND RIOTS. ECOART SHOWCASE: WE GREW OUR ONLINE GALLERY BY LAUNCHING AN INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS. AS OF TODAY WE HAVE PUBLISHED APPROXIMATELY 2500 WORK OF ART ON OUR SHOWCASE. TO LEVERAGE THIS IMMENSE CREATIVE RESOURCE, WE LAUNCHED A NEW ONLINE INITIATIVE CALLED "NEW ARTIST OF THE WEEK SERIES", PROMOTING ONE ARTISTS PER WEEK ON OUR NEWSLETTER AND SOCIAL MEDIA.
