TAUGHT CREATIVE WRITING COURSES IN 8 MINNESOTA STATE CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. 24 FULL 10-15 WEEK LONG COURSES TAUGHT IN 2022 PLUS GUEST TEACHERS AND SHORTER COURSES. SOME COURSES WERE DELIVERED REMOTELY DUE TO PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS ON IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING. ESTIMATED 600 STUDENTS TAUGHT IN 2021.


SUPPORTED WRITERS TRANSITION FROM PRISON TO COMMUNITY THROUGH BOTH MATERIAL AND IMMATERIAL MEANS NETWORKING CONSULTATIONS ETC..


HOSTED A NUMBER OF PUBLIC EVENTS AT WHICH THE WRITING OF INCARCERATED MINNESOTANS WAS FEATURED AND DISSEMINATED BROADLY. EVENTS WERE BOTH IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL. SOME ATTRACTED UPWARDS OF 1,000 PEOPLE.
