PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF TO THOSE MOST AFFECTED, AND WORKING WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN NEED. AMURTEL PROVIDES SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF BASIC NECESSITIES OFFERED IN A CAPACITY BUILDING STRUCTURE, INCLUDING TRAINING, MICRO CREDIT,HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION AND HOUSING.

AMURTEL HAITI WORKS WITH ABOUT 2000 WOMEN LIVING IN SEVERE POVERTY, ORGANIZING SELF HELP GROUPS MICROCREDIT PROGRAMS, & HEALTH AND LITERACY PROGRAMS. THERE ARE PROGRAMS FOR 1000 TEENAGE GIRLS, PROVIDING TRAINING AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN HEALTH, DECISION MAKING & POSITIVE FUTURE OUTCOMES. AMURTEL HAITI OPERATES 2 CHILDREN'S HOMES/ORPHANGES, AND 3 SCHOOL PRE K-9TH GRADE, FOR CHILDREN LIVING IN IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES. DURING 2021, AMURTEL PROVIDED ONGOING SUPPORT TO HUNDRES OF FAMILIES WHO WERE UNABLE TO WORK DUE TO CIVIL UNREST THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. THIS INCLUDED HOT MEALS, DRY FOOD, CLOTHING, MEDICAL CARE AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES.
AMURTEL ROMANIA OPERATES A KINDERGARTEN FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILES, AN AFTERSCHOOL AND STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AT RISK OF DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL. A HOME/ORPHANAGE FOR CHILDREN WITHOUT FAMILY, A COMMUNITY AGRICULTURE PROGRAM FOR RURAL COMMUNITIES EXPERIENCING FOOD INSECURITY.
AMURTEL INDIA PROVIDES SCHOOLING FOR HUNDREDS OF GIRLS LIVING IN EXTREME POVERTY, AND IN 2021 PROVIDED SUPPORT IN BUILDING A GIRL'S COLLEGE. WE ALSO SUPPORT A WOMEN,S HOSPITAL, AND HOMES FOR GIRLS WITH NO FAMILY.
