OUR MISSION IS TO EQUIP AND EMPOWER EXPLOITED YOUTH TO EXPERIENCE FREEDOM AND PURPOSE. WE PROVIDE COUNSELING TO HELP YOUTH PROCESS THEIR TRAUMA AND HELP THEM BEGIN TO HEAL. WE OFFER MENTORING TO HELP EACH YOUTH REACH THEIR OWN POTENTIAL. WE WORK WITH THE YOUTH'S FAMILY PROVIDING COUNSELING AND SUPPORT. WE WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND PRESENTATIONS TO CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, MEDICAL FACILITIES AND MORE TO MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THE ISSUE, AND TO AID IN THE PREVENTION OF SEX TRAFFICKING IN SOCIETY.

MENTORING AND COUNSELING - WE WERE SERVICE PROVIDERS UNDER A BEXAR COUNTY JUVENILE GRANT NEW LIFE. WE OFFERED INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING FOR CLIENTS REFERRED THROUGH BEXAR COUNTY JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT. WE HAVE WORKED AS SERVICE PROVIDERS UNDER THIS GRANT SINCE 2017 AND IT ENDED IN OCTOBER OF 2021.97 YOUTH WERE SERVED THROUGH MENTORING AND COUNSELING.6562 SERVICES WERE PROVIDED FOR OUR YOUTH.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS - RANSOMED LIFE OFFERS BOTH PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND AFTER-CARE SERVICES FOR SURVIVORS AND THOSE AT HIGH-RISK OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE: COMMUNITY AWARENESS (FORMALLY CALLED COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT), MENTOR PROGRAM, AND OUR COUNSELING PROGRAM.6,926 ADULTS AND YOUTH WERE EDUCATED ON HUMAN AND SEX TRAFFICKING THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY PRESENATIONS.OUR WEBSITE PROVIDES COUNTLESS RESOURCES FOR THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREA OF CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING, PARENT RESOURCES, YOUTH RESOURCES, PORNOGRAPHY AND SEXTORTION, AND PODCASTS.WE PROVIDE TRAININGS FOR THE MEDICAL WORLD, SCHOOLPRESENTATIONS.
RANSOMED LIFE OFFERS A SPECIALIZED YOUTH-LED MENTOR PROGRAM THAT FOCUSES ON THE YOUTH'S INDIVIDUAL GOALS AND ADULT PREPARATION GOALS. OUR MENTOR PROGRAM WALKS ALONGSIDE THE YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILY TO HELP THEM REACH THE GOALS THEY HAVE SET FOR THEMSELVES AND TO DREAM EVEN BIGGER. OUR ADULT PREPARATION PIECE HELPS EQUIP OUR YOUTH TO FACE LIFE AFTER THEY TURN 18.
