THE CLEARPORT LEARNING CENTER AT 210 WEST PINE STREET IN LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA OPENED ITS DOORS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OFFERING TUTORING BY CERTIFIED TEACHERS , MENTORING TIME, COMPUTER LABS, CLASSROOMS AND OTHER AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING HOT MEALS ON SOME DAYS. STUDENTS EARN REWARDS IN THE MEDIA AND GAME ROOMS AFTER COMPLETING SCHOOL WORK. THE BUILDING WHICH HOUSES THE CENTER WAS PURCHASED, RENOVATED, AND DONATED TO THE FOUNDATION IN 2014.
