AHLS PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CARE THROUGH COMMUNITY EFFORTS, TO PROMOTE PREVENTION AND COORDINATE TREATMENT, AND TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH CARE STATUS OF PERSONS IN LOUISIANA WITH EMPHASIS ON THE UNDERSERVED AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS. AHL HAS PROVIDED SERVICES IN SOUTHEAST AND CENTRAL LOUISIANA TO OVER 120,000 PATIENTS VIA DIRECT PRIMARY MEDICAL, DENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE AND TELEHEALTH SERVICES. IT HAS ALSO PROVIDED COVID TESTING AND VACCINATIONS, ALONG WITH TREATMENT TO PATIENTS THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC.
