MISSIONS IN EAST AFRICA: CHRISTIAN OUTREACH PROGRAMTHE CHRISTIAN OUTREACH MINISTRIES ASSISTED AND EMPOWERED COMMUNITY AND CHURCH LEADERS IN THE LEAST REACHED AND UNDERDEVELOPED AREAS OF KENYA, UGANDA AND SOUTH SUDAN TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT, TRAINED AND EQUIPPED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR CHURCHES AND REACH THEIR OWN PEOPLE WITH THE GOSPEL MESSAGE.THE ORGANIZATION TRAINED AND EQUIPPED 283 PASTORS, DURING 10 TRAINING SEMINARS, 143 PASTORS GRADUATED. CMA PROVIDED 30 BICYCLES AND 14 MOTORCYCLES TO PASTORS AND DISTRIBUTED OVER 620 VERNACULAR BIBLES. CMA MADE SEVERAL MONITORING AND SUPERVISION VISITS IN THE REMOTE AREAS OF UGANDA AND KENYA TO SUPERVISE PASTORAL SERVICES AND ASSISTED WITH THE MINISTRIES OF TRAINED LOCAL PASTORS.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES:CMA RESCUED 6 NEW GIRLS AND IS CURRENTLY SUPPORTING 76 GIRLS WITH SAFE SHELTER AND GIVING THEM AN EDUCATION AFTER RESCUING THEM FROM FGM AND FORCED MARRIAGES. CMA PROVIDED EDUCATION FOR LESS FORTUNATE CHILDREN AND SPONSORED 189 PRIMARY STUDENTS. 100 VULNERABLE GIRLS WERE PROVIDED WITH HEALTH EDUCATION AND SANITARY KITS. 310 TEACHERS WERE TRAINED ON HOW TO TEACH CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN THE SCHOOLS AND SUNDAYS SCHOOL USING BIBLICAL MATERIALS AND 41,000 STUDENT HANDBOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED.
AID AND RELIEF MINISTRIES:AID AND RELIEF MINISTRIES ARE MAINLY MEDICAL AND NUTRITION PROGRAMS IN SOUTH SUDAN, FUNDED DIRECTLY FROM UNICEF AND WFP, WORLD BANK. IN KENYA, PROVIDED FAMILIES WITH FOOD RELIEF THROUGH SEVER DRAUGHT IN KENYA 177,695 PEOPLE WERE TREATED IN CMA'S PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CENTERS. 26,636 CHILDREN WERE TREATED FOR MALNUTRITION, 18,538 CHILDREN VACCINATED.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MINISTRIES:FACILITATED ADULT LITERACY CLASSES FOR 78 MAASAI WOMEN AND MEN, PROVIDING THEM WITH INCOME GENERATING PROJECTS, AND FOOD RELIEF.
