GREAT PLAINS HEALTH IS A NOT FOR PROFIT HEALTH SYSTEM COMMITTED TO MEETING THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. OUR MEDICAL STAFF, BOARD AND LEADERSHIP BELIEVE WE OFFER SPECIALTIES THAT PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY AND LOW COST CARE TO OUR PATIENTS. SPECIALTIES, SUCH AS CARDIOLOGY, ONCOLOGY, ORTHOPEDICS AND NEUROSURGERY CONTINUE TO GROW AND MEET THE HEALTH CHALLENGES OF OUR COMMUNITIES.
GREAT PLAINS HEALTH OPERATES A 116-BED INPATIENT HOSPITAL. THE INPATIENT CARE PROVIDED IN THOSE UNITS ARE THE FOLLOWING: MEDICAL, SURGICAL, INTENSIVE CARE, CORONARY CARE, OBSTETRICS, LABOR & DELIVERY, NICU, AND BEHAVIOR HEALTH SERVICES. GREAT PLAINS HEALTH PATIENTS COME FROM PRIMARY AND SECONDARY MARKETS. ADDITIONALLY, GREAT PLAINS HEALTH OPERATES 30 SPECIALTY OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENTS TO FURTHER MEET THE MEDICAL NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES.
GREAT PLAINS HEALTH IS DEDICATED TO MEETING THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. TO HELP MEET THOSE NEEDS, WE OPERATE A DEDICATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNIT/FLOOR AT THE HOSPITAL. THE UNIT ACCEPTS A WIDE VARIETY OF BEHAVIORAL DIAGNOSIS AND ISSUES. GREAT PLAINS HEALTH ALSO OFFERS OUTPATIENT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES TO PEDIATRICS, ADOLESCENTS AND ADULTS NEEDING OUTPATIENT SERVICES.
