GREAT PLAINS HEALTH IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT HEALTH SYSTEM COMMITTED TO MEETING THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. OUR MEDICAL STAFF, BOARD AND LEADERSHIP BELIEVE WE OFFER SPECIALTIES THAT PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY AND LOW COST CARE TO OUR PATIENTS. SPECIALTIES THAT ARE NEW AND HAVE GROWN IN THE PAST THREE YEARS ARE ONCOLOGY, CARDIOLOGY, ORTHOPEDICS, HYPERBARIC AND WOUND CARE, AND THE DIABETIC PROGRAM TO MEET THE HEALTH CHALLENGES OF OUR COMMUNITIES.
GREAT PLAINS HEALTH OPERATES A 116-BED INPATIENT HOSPITAL. THE INPATIENT CARE PROVIDED IN THOSE UNITS ARE THE FOLLOWING: MEDICAL, SURGICAL, INTENSIVE CARE, CORONARY CARE, OBSTETRICS, LABOR & DELIVERY, NICU, AND BEHAVIOR HEALTH SERVICES. GREAT PLAINS HEALTH PATIENTS COME FROM PRIMARY AND SECONDARY MARKETS.
GREAT PLAINS HEALTH IS DEDICATED TO MEETING THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. TO HELP MEET THOSE NEEDS, WE OPERATE A DEDICATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNIT/FLOOR AT THE HOSPITAL. THE UNIT ACCEPTS A WIDE VARIETY OF BEHAVIORAL DIAGNOSIS AND ISSUES.
