PEOPLE FIRST STATE CONVENTION: THIS MULTI DAY CONVENTION OFFERS A WEALTH OF LEADERSHIP AND SELF-ADVOCACY TRAINING. IT ALSO OFFERS A SOCIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR NATURAL FRIENDSHIPS TO DEVELOP. THE ARC OF NORFOLK SPONSORED 2 INTERESTED SELF ADVOCATES AND 1 ADVOCATE TO ATTEND. THE COST WAS $412. THIS COST COVERED THIS INDIVIDUAL'S ATTENDANCE AND STAY.
SENATORIAL DINNER: AN EVENT SUPPORTING AND CELEBRATING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES.
