MARY EMS) IS A SERVICE PROVIDING OUT-OF-HOSPITAL ACUTE CARE AND TRANSPORT TO DEFINITIVE CARE, TO PATIENTS WITH ILLNESSES AND INJURIES WHICH THE PATIENT BELIEVES CONSTITUTE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY. ST MARY EMS PROVIDES PRIMARY EMS TO THERESIDENTS AND VISITORS OF UPPER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, BUCKS COUNTY. THIS TOWNSHIP WAS FOUND TO BE A COMMUNITY IN NEED OF IN-TOWN SERVICES AS IT HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN SERVED BY DISTANT EMS AGENCIES.ST. MARY EMS CARRIES OUT ITS PURPOSE TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL HEALTH OFTHE COMMUNITY CURRENTLY BY PROVIDING ONE ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORTSTAFFED AMBULANCE WITH A PARAMEDIC AND AN EMT.
