HEARTS UNITED FOR GOOD STRIVES TO RAISE FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND PEOPLE BASED IN AND AROUND CHARLOTTE, NC. WE SERVE INDIVIDUALS AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE GREATER CHARLOTTE AREA THROUGH A VARIETY OF FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL MEANS. THE FOUNDATION HAS SUSTAINED PROGRAMS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS, EMERGING NEEDS, FOOD INSECURITY, ANIMAL WELFARE AND INCLUSIVITY AND EQUALITY FOR ALL PERSONS.

HOMELESSNESS: FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS WORK DAILY WITHIN THE UPTOWN AREA AND OUTLYING ENCAMPMENTS TO PROVIDE OUR SHELTERLESS NEIGHBORS WITH ACCESS TO RESOURCES AND SUPPLIES NEEDED TO SURVIVE. FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS AND BOARD MEMBERS ALSO WORK WITH CITY, COUNTY, AND STATE SERVICES TO ENSURE THAT TARGETED ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE OR LOCATION TO ALL THOSE IN NEED.
ANIMAL WELFARE PROGRAM: THE FOUNDATION SERVED OVER 150 FAMILIES WITH PETS BY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL HEALTHCARE, FOOD, FENCED ENCLOSURES AND RESCUE SERVICES FOR ANIMALS IN NEED.
FOOD INSECURITY/PANTRY: EACH WEEK, HEARTS UNITED FOR GOOD SERVES OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR FREE FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM. THIS IS A COVID-FRIENDLY, LOW-BARRIER DRIVE-THRU FORMAT THAT PROVIDES A FULL WEEK OF GROCERIES FOR 100+ FAMILIES WEEKLY THAT ARE PRIMARILY FROM AT-RISK COMMUNITIES.
