ECSV REAL ESTATE (THE ORGANIZATION") WAS FORMED FOR THE BENEFIT OF EDUCARE CALIFORNIA AT SILICON VALLEY ("ECSV"). ECSV IS A NONPROFIT, 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO BUILD AND OPERATE AN EARLY LEARNING CENTER IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA TO HELP ENSURE THAT THE CHILDREN THEREBY SERVED WILL SUCCEED IN SCHOOL AND LATER LIFE. ECSV OFFERS CURRICULA AND PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON DELIVERING BEST PRACTICES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO SERVE AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION FOR ECSV. THE ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATED IN A NEW MARKETS TAX CREDIT TRANSACTION THAT PROVIDED FUNDS TO FINANCE THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF A FACILITY LOCATED IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA. CONSTRUCTION WAS COMPLETED IN AUGUST 2015 AND THE ORGANIZATION COMMENCED LEASING THE FACILITY TO ECSV FOR ECSV TO SERVE APPROXIMATELY 164 CHILDREN AGES BIRTH TO 5 AND THEIR FAMILIES IN A MODEL EARLY LEARNING SCHOOL. CLASSROOM SERVICES WERE PROVIDED BY THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION (SCCOE) AND KIDANGO, AND FUNDED WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL FUNDING SOURCES. FACILITY COSTS WERE SHARED BY SCCOE (69.22%), FMSD (7.44%), AND FIRST 5 SANTA CLARA COUNTY (18.82%) BASED ON SQUARE FOOTAGE USED AT THE FACILITY.
