CANCER RESEARCH PROJECT: SUPPORTING THE HELEN DILLER FAMILY COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER, UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCOTHE JADE AND HOPE FOUNDATION CONTINUE SUPPORTING PANCREATIC CANCER RESEARCH TO HELP PANCREATIC CANCER PATIENT TO GET BETTER TREATMENT AND A HIGHER QUALITY OF LIFE AT UCSF. THE DONATION FUNDING GOES TO THE CANCER RESEARCH PROGRAMS SUCH AS MAPPING CELL PROTEINS TO REVEAL HIDDEN CANCER DRUG TARGETS. ONE OF THE RESEARCH AT UCSF IS TO HELP TO DETERMINE HOW THE MUTATION INVOLVED IN THE CANCERS AFFECTING PROTEINS THAT ARE THE DRIVERS OF THE DECEASES. WE BELIEVE THESE PROGRAMS WILL HELP ONCOLOGY CARE TEAM TO PRECISE MATCH EXISTING CANCER THERAPIES TO THE PATIENTS. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP THE CANCER PATIENT WERE GIVEN THE BEST SHOT OF THE TREATMENTS THEREFORE THE BEST OUTCOMES WITHOUT THE UNNECESSARY SIDE EFFECTS.
