PROGRAM EDUCATION: THE RABATA EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OFFERS ONLINE CLASSES THORUGH FIVE PROGRAMS. RIBAAT ACADEMIC INSTITUTE OFFERS TERM-LENGTH COURSES AS WELL AS SHORT-TERM WORKSHOPS TO ADULT WOMEN AGES 17 AND OVER. THE RABATEENS PROGRAM CATERS TO TEENS AGES 12-17. THE DRAGONFLIES PROGRAM CATERS TO CHILDREN 6-12. WE OFFER 211 COURSES AND SERVE 6,013 STUDENTS IN THESE PROGRAMS. WE ALSO PROVIDE TRAINING (TARBIYYA)THAT SERVES 20,473 PARTICIANTS IN 201 ONLINE PROGRAMS. WE ALSO RUN AN INCUBATION AND ACCELERATION PROGRAM WHICH TRAINS WOMEN LEADERS HOW TO RUN NONPROFITS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY NOT SUSTAINABLE. ALL PARTICIPANTS (13) BECAME SUSTAINABLE AT PROGRAMS END.
ZAKAT IS A COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS WOMEN IN NEED IN THE USA. WE SENT 34 INDIVIDUAL GRANTS FOR A TOTAL OF $159,894 TO ASSIST WILL MONTHLY EXPENSES, RENT HEALTH CARE, AND OTHER EMERGENCY NEEDS.END.
DURING 2021, DAYBREAK PRESS PUBLISHED ONE PUBLICATION, HELD THE ANNUAL BOOK AWARDS TO SUPPORT WOMEN IN PUBLISHING, AND HOSTED THE DAYBREAK LITERARY CONFERENCE, A THREE DAY EVENT THAT SUPPORTS WOMEN WRITERS.
