THIS YEAR WE HELD 2 COWGIRL CAMPS - PARTICIPANTS LEARNED ABOUT RANCHING CULTURE AND TRADITION ALONG WITH THE BEST NEW IDEAS AND METHODS FOR REGENERATING SOIL AND HOW TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE, PROFITABLE RANCHING BUSINESS WHILE HEALING THE LAND AND PROVIDING A GOOD QUALITY LIFE. WE ALSO ATTENDED THE NORTHWEST GRAZING CONFERENCE - OVER 139 PAID PARTICIPANTS & 7 EXHIBITORS WERE ON HAND FOR OUR PRESENTATION PROMOTING OUR HOLISTIC APPROACH TO GUIDING AND DEVELOPING RANCHERS AND AG PROFESSIONALS TO ACHIEVE THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOMES. USING THE PRINCIPLES OF HOLISTIC DECISION MAKING AND PLANNED GRAZING, ROOTS OF RESILIENCE WORKS WITH RANCHERS, AGENCIES, ORGANIZATION, AND POLICY MAKERS TOWARD REJUVENATION OF THE GRASSLANDS, INCREASING BIODIVERSITY, SEQUESTERING CARBON, AND REVERSING DESERTIFICATION. IN ADDITION, FARMERS AND RANCHER CAN USE HOLISTIC FINANCIAL PLANNING TO BECOME MORE PROFITABLE SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO STAY ON THE LAND AND RECOVER FROM SETBACKS. FINALLY, THE HOLISTIC DECISION-MAKING FRAMEWORK GUIDES PEOPLE IN CREATING THE KIND OF LIFE AND BUSINESS THEY DESIRE.
