KCRQF HAS 13 REGIONAL QUILT GUILDS AS CORPORATE MEMBERS WHO, THROUGH THEIR VOLUNTEERS, PLAN AND EXECUTE A CONFERENCE EVERY OTHER YEAR. THE 2021 FESTIVAL PROVIDED CLASSES AND LECTURES TO TEACH VARIOUS SKILLS FOR QUILTING. THE MEMBER GUILDS EXHIBITED QUILTS DEMONSTRATING THE CRAFT OF QUILTING. THERE WERE 3 SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS OF QUILTING. MAKERS ENTERED QUILTS TO BE JUDGED IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES AND ENTRANTS RECEIVED THE JUDGE'S WRITTEN EVALUATION. AWARDS WERE GIVEN OUT IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF QUILTING SKILL. PROFITS FROM THE FESTIVAL/CONFERENCE WERE DISTRIBUTED TO THE MEMBER GUILDS WHO USE THOSE PROCEEDS FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.
