PROJECT FEED THE HUNGRY/HOMELESS THIS IS LARGEST CHURCH CHARITY PROGRAM ORGANIZED TWO TO THREE TIMES EACH YEAR TO FEED THE HOMELESS AND HUNGRY OF OUR COMMUNITY. SOME TIME THIS IS DONE IN THE CHURCH PREMISES AND SOME TIMES THIS IS ORGANIZED IN THE PUBLIC PARK TO ATTRACT A LOT OF PARTICIPANTS. WE FEED ANYWHERE FROM 75 TO 100 PEOPLE.
THIS IS OUR FOREIGN OUTREACH PROGRAM WHERE THROUGH THE CHURCH IN GHANA WE SUPPORT AND MINISTER TO THE POOR AND UNDERSERVED URBAN AND RURAL COMMUNITIES. IT IS OUR 3RD LARGEST PROGRAM AND WE REACH OUT TO ABOUT 175 PEOPLE THROUGH THE CHURCH.
SUPPORT FOR OUR NEEDY INDIVIDUAL OF OUR COMMUNITY. THIS IS OUR 2RD LARGEST PROGRAM WHERE WE PROVIDE DONATIONS TO SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS OF OUR CHURCH COMMUNITY WHO DEMONSTRATE A NEED TO SPECIFIC ASSISTANCE THROUGH-OUT THE YEAR AND MAKE THAT REQUEST. THIS RANGES FROM MEMBERS WHO JUST HAD BABIES AND PARISHONERS WHO NEED DAILY NECECITIES AND FUNERAL SERVICES. THIS YEAR WE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 5 FAMILIES.
THIS YEAR OUR PROJECT FEED THE HUNGRY FED NEARLY 120 AS COMPARED TO 2020 BECAUSE OF THE INCIDENTS OF THE COVID-19 ALTHOUGH THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN NEEDY INDIVIDUALS WE WERE ABLE TO ASSIST 8 FAMILIES. ALTHOUGH SPECIFIC DONOATION TO OUR FOREIGN OUTREACH MINISTRIES WERE LOW WE WERE ABLE TO SERVE THE POOR AND NEEDY MEMBERS OF THE GHANA CHURCH WITH $1337.
