THIRD HORIZON IS DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING, PRODUCING, EXHIBITING AND DISTRIBUTING FILM AND OTHER ART FORMS THAT GIVE VOICE TO STORIES OF THE CARIBBEAN, ITS DIASPORA AND OTHER MARGINALIZED AND UNDERREPRESENTED SPACES IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH.

1) PRODUCTION: THIRD HORIZON SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ITS PRODUCTION PROJECT SUPPORT THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SHORT FILMS BY SEVEN (7) MIAMI-BASED CARIBBEAN FILMMAKERS WHO WERE EACH AWARDED A $7,000 PROJECT GRANT. THIRD HORIZON ALSO SUPPORTED THE POST-PRODUCTION PROCESSING OF EACH OF THE FILMS AND PROGRAMMED THEM FOR THE OPENING NIGHT OF THIRD HORIZON FILM FESTIVAL 2024. 2)DISTRIBUTION:THROUGH OUR VIDEO-ON-DEMAND PLATFORM AND EDUCATIONAL LICENSING INITIATIVES, THIRD HORIZON DISTRIBUTION SUPPORTED 100+ FILMMAKERS. WE APPLIED FOR A $100,000 GRANT RE-VAMP OUR PLATFORM TO INCREASE OUR REACH AND EFFECTIVENESS. ON ACCOUNT OF OUR DOWN-TIME, WE ADDED NO NEW FILMS TO THE CATALOG; HOWEVER, WE DID SECURE THIRD PARTY LICENSING SALES OF ABOUT $5000 IN 2023.3)EXHIBITION:IN 2023 THIRD HORIZON HOSTED MULTIPLE SCREENINGS IN MIAMI, FLORIDA, NEW YORK & NEW ORLEANS.
