ORCHESTRATING DREAMS PROVIDES ACCESSIBLE HIGH-QUALITY MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT STRENGTHEN COMMUNITIES AND HELP INDIVIDUALS DEVELOP A LIFELONG LOVE FOR LEARNING. ORCHESTRATING DREAMS STANDS FOR EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION IN MUSIC EDUCATION - FROM BIRTH TO ADULTHOOD. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE PRIVATE LESSONS IN VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, BASS, CLARINET, AND MUSIC COMPOSITION; ORCHESTRAL STUDIES CLASSES; AND PAID INTERNSHIP AND MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS. WE PROVIDE FINANCIAL AID TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS IT IN ORDER TO CONTINUE THEIR MUSIC EDUCATION AND HOST CULTURAL EVENTS FOR THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.ORCHESTRATING DREAMS HAS PROVIDED HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS FROM NEW YORK CITY'S FIVE BOROUGHS A UNIQUE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE. GRADUATES HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO PRESTIGIOUS MUSIC SCHOOLS LIKE MANNES SCHOOL OF MUSIC, RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, NYU STEINHARDT, AARON COPLAND SCHOOL OF MUSIC, BARD COLLEGE, AND MUSIC PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE JUILLIARD MAP, INTERLOCHEN ARTS CAMP, AND THE LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC YOUTH ORCHESTRA. OUR STUDENTS HAVE PERFORMED WITH THE SIMO'N BOLIVAR ORCHESTRA OF VENEZUELA, GUSTAVO DUDAMEL OF THE LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC, AND THE ORCHESTRA OF ST. LUKE'S; AND AT VENUES INCLUDING CARNEGIE HALL, MERKIN HALL, NY SOCIETY FOR ETHICAL CULTURE, CLEMENTE SOTO VLEZ THEATRE, AND DIMENNA CENTER FOR CLASSICAL MUSIC.
