THE ORGANIZATION CREATED A PROGRAM CALLED OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE AND TRANSFORM (OPT). THROUGH OPT KEY SERVICES WILL INVITE THE PEOPLE WITH POST TRAUMATIC OR DEVELOPMENTAL/INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES WITH A VARIETY OF INTERPERSONAL OR BEHAVIORAL ISSUES TO BE INTRODUCED INTO A VALUABLE ROLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY BY ATTENDING INTEGRATED WORK READINESS TRAINING WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO INCLUDE EMPLOYERS AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES. THE GOAL IN THIS PARTNERSHIP IS TO INCREASE THE INDIVIDUAL'S ABILITY TO BE INCLUDED IN COMMUNITY LIFE AS A STUDENT AND POTENTIALLY ACCEPTED AS A FUTURE STUDENT OR EMPLOYEE AND TO DEVELOP EMPLOYMENT RELATED SKILLS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO FACILITATE EMPLOYMENT.
