DEPARTMENT OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES GRANT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE FAMILY ADVOCACY SERVICES TO JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL FAMILIES. SERVICES INCLUDE PARENT TRAINING, MENTORING, LIFE SKILL CLASSES AND COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS.
IL SEC OF STATE GRANT FOR LITERACY. THIS IS A FAMILY AND ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM. YOUTH AND PARENTS ARE ASSISTED IN WAYS TO IMPROVE THEIR LITERARY SKILLS. BENEFITS ARE JOB PLACEMENT AND PARENTAL LITERARY DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE ACADEMIC AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR CHILDREN.
