GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS:AACAP GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EDUCATING CONGRESS, THE ADMINISTRATION, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AT THE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL ON ISSUES AFFECTING CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY AND CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH. WE ALSO EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS ABOUT PERTINENT LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS IMPACTING THEIR PRACTICES AND PATIENTS.
