TO PROMOTE HOPE AND RECOVERY FOR INDIVIUALS LIVING WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA-RELATED BRAIN ILLNESSES AND ENSURE THEY RECEIVE RESPECT, ACCEPTANCE, APPROPRIATE TREATMENT AND OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE A MEANINGFUL AND SATISFYING LIFE IN A COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITY THAT IS FREE OF DISCRIMINATION.

AWARENESS: WE BUILD AWARENESS OF SCHIZOPHRENIA, PSYCHOSIS AND RELATED DISORDERS THROUGH EXTENSIVE RESOURCES ON ITS WEBSITE, INITIATIVES SUCH AS THE ANOSOGNOSIA COALITION, OUTREACH THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS AND PARTICIPATION IN MEDIA INTERVIEWS AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS.
RESEARCH INITIATIVESTHROUGH ITS INSIGHT INITIATIVE, WE LEAD AND SUPPORT A VARIETY OF EFFORTS DESIGNED TO SHED NEW LIGHT ON AREAS SUCH AS THE SOCIETAL COSTS OF SCHIZOPHRENIA, THE ECONOMIC BURDEN ON CAREGIVERS AND THE POTENTIAL IMPACT OF EARLIER DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF THE SEVERE BRAIN DISEASE. THESE GROUPS PROVIDE PEOPLE LIVING WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA SPECTRUM DISORDERS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT, FIND SUPPORT, INCREASE DISEASE EDUCATION AND PURSUE ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES.
ADVOCACYWE COLLABORATE WITH LIKE-MINDED ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS TO ADVOCATE FOR IMPROVED CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA, BETTER TREATMENTS FOR THE BRAIN DISEASE AND A MORE ACCURATE UNDERSTANDING OF ITS PREVALENCE AND BURDEN.
