GRIPE ORGANIZES AN ANNUAL PATHOLOGY CONFERENCE WHICH PROVIDES A VENUE FOR PATHOLOGY EDUCATORS AND SCHOLARS TO ADVANCE MEDICAL EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF PATHOLOGY.
GRIPE IS A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION OF PATHOLOGY EDUCATORS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE TEACHING OF PATHOLOGY TO MEDICAL AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS. THERE ARE THREE LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP: INSTITUTIONAL, INDIVIDUAL, AND EMERITUS. ALL MEMBERS RECEIVE FULL ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE, OUR COLLABORATIVE TEACHING COMMUNITY AND RESOURCES, PATHWAY (THE GRIPE NEWSLETTER) AND DISCOUNTED MEETING REGISTRATION. IN ADDITION, INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS RECEIVE ACCESS TO OUR GRIPE DIGITAL LIBRARY WHICH INCLUDES A DATABSE OF OVER 4,000 PATHOLOGY TEACHING IMAGES AND 5,000 MULTIPLE CHOICE EXAM QUESTIONS.
GRIPE MAINTAINS ELECTRONIC SERVICES FOR ITS MEMBERS, INCLUDING A WEBSITE WITH FEATURES SUCH AS DISCUSSION FORUMS, BIBLIOGRAPHIES, AND PUBLICATIONS. GRIPE PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER CALLED "PATHWAYS", WHICH PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH INFORMATION CONCERNING THE ORGANIZATION, THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE, AND EDUCATIONAL NEWS AND UPDATES IN THE FIELD OF PATHOLOGY.
