TO DEVELOP SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLES, ENVIRONMENTS, AND FUTURES BY CREATING AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY TO SERVE ALL INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT DISTINCTION. THE PERSON-CENTERED LIFESTYLE WILL BE SUSTAINED BY THE INDIVIDUAL WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT WITHIN THE NATURAL COMMUNITY TO CREATE MEASURABLE OUTCOMES. THE PERSON-CENTERED ENVIRONMENT WILL EDUCATE THE INDIVIDUAL TO BECOME AS SELF-SUFFICIENT AS POSSIBLE AND A MEANINGFUL PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY. THE PERSON-CENTERED FUTURE WILL ENSURE SELF-DIRECTION, QUALITY OF LIFE, PURPOSE, AND A FOREVER HOMESTEAD THAT ALWAYS OFFERS AN OPEN DOOR.

READY SET WORK! CONTINUED THIS YEAR. THIS PROGRAM CREATES WORK READINESS BY PROVIDING SKILLS-BASED LEARNING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH I/DD OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND SUPPORTED BY AN INDIVIDUAL SERVICE PLAN. THE PROGRAM HAD AN AVERAGE ENROLLMENT OF 18 STUDENTS FROMJANUARY TO DECEMBER. THESE STUDENTS ACQUIRED SKILLS TO WORK IN FARMING, CONSTRUCTION, HYDROPONICS, WOOD WORKING, BEE KEEPING, AAND SOFT SKILLS. ALL OF THIS ALLOWS THEM TO WORK IN THE COMMUNITY FARM MARKET, HOMESTEAD'S FARM STORE, AND OTHER LOCAL FARMS.
SUCCESSFULLY CONTINUED PROGRAMMING, MEMBERSHIPS AND CLASSES ON OUR CANALSIDE COMMUNITY FARM WHICH IN TURN ALLOWED PARTICIPANTS, VOLUNTEERS AND THEIR FAMILIES LEARN, WORK, LIVE AND GROW IN NATURE'S CLASSROOM.
HOMESTEADS FOR HOPE INC OFFERS SEVERAL INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGESM ABILITIES AND DIVERSITIES. THESE INCLUDE COMMUNITY CLASSES, BOWLING LEAGUE, FARM EXPLORERS, HOPE CREW, AND SOCIAL GARDENING. THESE OPTIONS ARE OFFERED TO INDIVIDUALS AGED 13 AND OVER WITH A GOAL OF GIVING THEM A CHANCE TO SOCIALIZE WITH LIKE-MINDED PEERS IN AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT ON THE FARM AND AROUND THE COMMUNITY. THIS PROGRAM BEGAN IN 2019 AND HAS BEEN POPULAR EVER! THE AVERAGE AGE OF STUDENTS WHO ENROLL IN THIS PROGRAM ARE 16.
